Rental Policies:
When making a reservation over the phone, please tell us your pick up location.
We reserve the right to turn down rental customers.

I (the renter) hereby acknowledge that the lessor (M & W Auto Inc.) is not providing any type of insurance protection (unless I purchased the waiver with a $250. deductible). I or my own insurance will cover any damage plus out-of-service time for the vehicle, regardless of fault. I also acknowledge that my rental car is a non-smoking vehicle and I will not carry pets, or a cleaning fee will apply. I will refill my gas. If I don’t I will pay $8.00 gal with a $16.00 minimum. I understand that the credit card I give to M & W Auto Inc. will be used to cover all additional charges, including parking and toll tickets, gas, and extra time for which I am responsible. If I want to return the rental car early, M & W Auto Inc. needs at least 48 hours notice prior to return to provide a refund. All reservations have an at least 48 hour prior cancellation policy (Except 12-15 Passenger Vans, which are 30 Day prior cancellation). If cancellation occurs inside of 48 hours, the 1st day’s rental will be charged. We have limited cars, so if you reserve a car, (for example 10am but don’t pick up until 12pm your 24 hour increment will have started at 10am, the time you asked us to hold the car). For drop off after hours we have a key drop (in the back door, FH). Please refill your gas and bring your receipt on return. If you will be going to the mainland your rate includes 100 free miles each day, if you go over the charge is .25 cent per mile. To be able to go to the mainland, ask your rental agent for permission. If I made a reservation there is a $50. fee for cancelling for any reason.
OFFSITE RENTALS: Our main office is in Friday Harbor, so Roche Harbor, Orcas Island and Anacortes are considered Offsite locations. When renting offsite, we do not have an office, so you would call the main office in Friday Harbor 360-378-2886 before closing to sign up. The offsite locations have lock boxes on the vehicles, after you’re signed up over the phone, we will give you a code and the location of you car. If at any location you want to pick up a rental while we are closed, just call us the day before to sign up and get instructions. Please refill gas, Thank You.
