Established in 1988, the business was founded by Wendy, a lifelong Island resident whose passion for cars began at an early age. Having spent nearly her entire life on the Island, Wendy developed a deep connection to the community, its people, and the hands-on work that keeps things running. Her natural curiosity and love for mechanics led her to work on cars for decades, building a reputation for dedication, reliability, and craftsmanship.

Her daughter, Melisa, also grew up on the Island, surrounded by the same close-knit community and natural beauty, though her interests took a different path. While Wendy found joy under the hood of a car, Melisa was drawn to the Island’s wildlife and environment. She developed a strong appreciation for Orcas, native plants, and the preservation of the local ecosystem, spending her time learning about and supporting the natural heritage that makes the Island so unique.
